Cunard Tavern draws its inspiration from the rich nautical history and countless people whose search of the American Dream began when they first landed in the nearby East Boston Shipyard. Second only to Ellis Island, East Boston was the port of entry for many immigrants who came to its shores in search of opportunity - many of them landing at Cunard Wharf. From shipbuilders to carpenters, from welders to longshoremen, we celebrate those who helped build this great neighborhood.

Holiday Hours

Cunard Tavern will be open for brunch only on Christmas Eve and close for dinner and all day on Christmas Day. We will be open New Year's Eve and for brunch and dinner on New Year's Day.

Tuesday, December 12th

Chef Anthony Pino is creating a 5 course dinner that will be paired with hand selected "brewery-only exclusives" from Jack's Abby. You may not recognize the names of these beers but you will love the new and experimental flavors. Join us at 7pm as we roll out our secret stash with some delicious food pairings.

New Year's Eve at Cunard

Join us for a special New Year's Eve at Cunard Tavern! Chef Anthony Pino is preparing a four course meal that includes soup, appetizer, choice of entree and dessert! We are accepting reservations beginning at 5:00 PM. For those who wish to be part of our late seating (after 8:00 PM), we will head up to our roofdeck for a champagne toast at midnight and to watch the fireworks over Boston Harbor with a hot cocktail!
